Locals taking care of locals
We live here. Our kids go to school here. When we do a job badly, we hear about it at the grocery store — and that is a better accountability mechanism than any corporate quality programme.
Why we started this
Because the two options in this market had become a choice between a national chain that puts a commissioned salesman in your living room, and a one-truck operation that may or may not answer the phone next season.
We wanted to build the third thing: a company small enough that the owner’s name is on the reputation, and equipped well enough that the diagnosis is right the first time.
Warmth and competence are not opposites. You should not have to choose between a company that treats you decently and a company that knows what it is doing.

Credentials, in plain terms
Florida Certified A/C Contractor
Licence CAC1824779. “Certified” rather than “registered” means the licence is valid statewide and no local jurisdiction can require a separate competency exam. It is the harder licence to hold.
Fully insured
General liability and workers’ compensation, with certificates filed directly by our insurer with both the Bay County and Washington County building departments — which is what those departments require, and what a photocopy would not satisfy.
EPA Section 608 certified technicians
Required by federal law for anyone handling refrigerant. Worth confirming with any contractor you let near your system.
Permit-registered in both counties
On file with Bay County Builders’ Services and the Washington County Building Department, so we can pull permits without a delay while paperwork catches up.

Do it for every contractor who quotes you, not just us. An unlicensed HVAC install voids your equipment warranty and your homeowner’s insurance may decline a related claim.
